My Top 8 Sephora Sale Picks

Sephora's spring VIB sale is upon us. I do not believe I'll be making a purchase this time, but I will share eight of my top picks if you are needing any of these categories filled in your collection. 

I specifically was thinking of spring and summer as I was pulling my recommendations together, which was a feat thinking of warm weather while snow was still falling outside my window during what we call Toronto's "fake spring". Though I hate hot weather, I don't mind spring days where I don't sweat just stepping outside. Cardigan weather is my heaven!

Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette

I have the Universal quad, the other quad available is Glitz. It consists of two strobe powders (top two) and two blushes (bottom 2). This formula is so finely milled with the most beautiful sheen. I have swatches photographed, so I will work on getting a review up on here. It truly is universal and versatile. If you have heard the hype, I am here to tell you it is true.

Guerlain Météorites Setting and Finishing Pearls

I own the Pearly White shade. This creates a beautiful glowy airbrush finish. My main drawback? It smells beautiful, but it's so strong and it takes a while for the scent to mellow down. This is a huge splurge but given the minimal amount you need per application, it will last.

Armani Long-Lasting Liquid Eyeshadow 

I own Cashew, a matte tan shade that works nicely as a base or alone. I do use an eyeshadow primer despite it saying none required, but I have not experienced creasing and it lasts all day. The shades available are gorgeous.

OLEHENRIKSEN Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment 

I have Creme Brulee and it smells amazing. I have a love affair with Ole's products and this is no exception. Do I notice fuller lips? Not really, but I do notice hydration. This got me through winter and now I suspect it will get me through air conditioning in the hotter months. A close runner-up would be the Tower 28 LipSoftie balm. Similar results, but loses points with the applicator!

First Aid Beauty Anti-Chafe Stick 

Thick thighs ain't done a thing but cause me grief several times over since youth, especially while being in the hot and humid south. If I'm not going the bike shorts route, this sure does help. This is a savior! So if you suffer from chafing or heat rashes, look into this. Also if you're breaking in new shoes and trying to avoid blisters, rub this on to help. 

Sol de Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Care

I am so happy I bought this set months ago. First, it smells amazing which is something Sol de Janeiro always seems to excel at. Second, sandal season is coming and this whips your feet right into tiptop shape. The cream is thick and you will notice a difference after the first day or two. The little surfboard is an excellent foot file. This is a mighty duo!

Valentino Born in Roma Set

This set is bright in colors and scents. A perfect set of fragrances for warm days and nights. This set has Born in Roma, Born in Roma Yellow Dream, and Born in Roma Coral Fantasy. Retailing for $88 CAD for the trio, it's a great deal. One vial is sold for $46 CAD, so you save quite a bit of money if these are perfumes that have been on your radar.  

Phlur Vanilla Skin Body and Hair Mist

If you're a vanilla and gourmand scent lover like myself, this is one of the best. Worthy of taking up vanity space year round! It lasts on the skin for hours and just smells better as it fades. One of the better vanilla scents out there!
