It's been a while for this type of post for me, but here are a few things I've enjoyed this month from different categories. Let me know a few things you've been enjoying in the comments, if you'd like!
Song: How Bad Do U Want Me by Lady Gaga
I'm with everyone else on the thought that it does have a Taylor Swift sound while still being uniquely Lady Gaga. The whole album is good, but this song, Don't Call Tonight, and Die With a Smile are my standouts. Quite frankly, this album takes me back to her Born This Way album in all of the best ways.
Book: Tempted by Renee Harless
This one had been on my list of books to read long enough and I'm happy I finally opened it and dove in. This is a romance novel with an age gap where the daughter falls in love with her father's younger best friend. She's 24, he's 37.
They both separately decide to escape to secluded cabins and run into each other. It gets steamier right from that moment and never loses that steam!
Home: Room Spray in Sundried Linen from H&M
Color me influenced by Tiktok's Sunday Resets and morning routines, because it's been a long time since I bothered with a room spray. This one smells light and fresh for the upcoming warm days. I have a lavender one from ages ago that I should pull back out for bedtime.
Life: Archie
If you follow me on Instagram, you know we lost Indy last year on Valentine's Day. I still have a hard time talking about it, so I'm not there yet. He was my soul dog and his loss is felt every day. Archie turned 2 in December and we celebrated a year with him this March 22nd. We rescued him from Texas and he's a standard wirehaired Dachshund. His personality is big, but they do say everything is bigger in Texas! You'll be seeing him around here, for sure. Our world had lost its color and he has helped reintroduce it.
Clothes: Boxers
These boxer shorts from American Eagle! I have this black gingham pair and the blue striped ones. They are a great length for tall girls, airy, AND have pockets! Not enough boxer shorts and PJs for women have pockets, so they are always a welcomed addition.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
