I realize this post is late, but it took this long to get everything in my posession. Long story. I took advantage of a few of the Black Friday deals, one I can't show here because it is a Christmas present for my MIL. I remember back when Black Friday and Boxing Day deals were all $12-16, how times have changed. Usually there is a $15-20 off a $50 purchase around the beginning of December, but I haven't seen that make the rounds either. I wonder how good the Boxing Day/after Christmas deals will be.
I picked out
the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Sugar. I've seen so many use these and think the glow is beautiful. This is my first dive into ABH face products. I love anything Paris-themed and the colors in this Too Faced Melted in Paris set were too pretty to pass up. I'm also happy that Gingerbread Man is included, because that shade was on my wishlist. And finally, the Wish List Lashes Benefit BAD gal BANG! set. This is one Benefit mascara that I have yet to try, but getting both a full-sized and mini-sized tube for $20 CA was a steal of a deal. I love the little stocking tin and will use it as storage. I'll do my best to swatch and review these. I really have to get back into the swing of blogging in the new year. I kinda dropped the ball recently. Just trying to survive, honestly. Here's hoping 2022 will renew and jumpstart some hope!
Has anyone else had issues with Sephora lately? It's disappointing. I'd normally have a gander over the Boxing Day deals, but I don't know now if I will. This experience really put a dampener on things. Did you purchase anything from the recent Black Friday or VIB sales? I'd love to know what you got!
It's Christmas in a few days and our break starts at 5pm today, so I am not sure that I will get another post up before the holidays. If you are celebrating, I hope you stay safe, warm, and healthy. How we are celebrating is up in the air. Originally, we had plans to have my MIL over, with her being the first person to do so since the start of the pandemic. I wouldn't say I am completely comfortable with it, but we are all doing our best at staying safe and will call it as the day gets here. Now we have this new variant and a whole new level of worries and anxiety (speaking for myself, at the very least). So it might be just the two of us and the dog and I am okay with that. I just didn't want my MIL to be alone, but staying safe is far more important. Please take this seriously. Please keep yourself and loved ones safe. Please remember everyone has a different level of what they are comfortable with. Wishing you well this holiday season! 💓
