MAC Haul - Brushes and Cruella Collection Lipstick in De Vil in the Details

If there is one place I have not shopped at in a super long time, it is MAC. It is nothing against them, I think I just get overwhelmed by collections left and right from brands and then I just kind of stop paying attention. In this moment, I couldn't resist the Cruella collection. Most of the collection does not interest me, aside from the lipsticks. Mainly though, I knew I needed the classic Cruella red lip! I also signed back up for their loyalty program and had a 15% off code from that, so I picked out two highly-rated brushes. Here's what I got!

They only offer one sample per order and I thought this was the best of the bunch offered to me. I was thinking I'd use these in a post to compare them!

For brushes, I picked out the 231 for eyes and the 270S for face. The 231 looks great for working with creams and shimmers and getting them in precise areas. I hate using my fingers with every fiber of my being, so I hope this works for packing on color. The 270S has fabulous reviews for working with concealer and I typically use the 224 for that, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this compares.

As for the Cruella lipstick I picked, it's De Vil in the Details which I knew I needed based on the shade and name alone. Though the packaging is fun, as well! If you look on my Instagram, you'll see what it looks like. I'll try to get a swatch up on here next week, if anyone is interested!
