I have been given the opportunity to try Olay's Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 Hydrating Moisturizer. I'm going to keep this review short and sweet and get right to it. Let's dive in to some of my thoughts!
The formula is so creamy and you know what else? Here's something many of us can appreciate- it's fragrance-free! With the addition of collagen, this moisturizer is supporting the skin as it ages and helping with any fine lines. As we age, the collagen (a protein) our skin produces declines. Collagen is also great for scars like from acne and skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema!
The "24" part of the title is that Olay promises 24 hours of hydration. While my skin does feel plump and moisturized for hours, I wouldn't necessarily say it's all day for me. My T-zone faired just fine, but sometimes my dry areas need more. You can use this morning and night, so I can get the hydration I need by doing the two applications. At nearly $45 CA, I'm not sure that I want to have to do two applications a day each time. That cost adds up if you're going through jars quickly. If your skin is extremely dry in areas like mine, you might run into the same issue. It's good, but not great at delivering on more lengthy hydration. The results are there, though!
It's not heavy and works just fine under makeup! You'll start noticing differences early on and it works better the longer you use it. They say it works better than a $400 cream, but I'm not exactly out there spending that on face creams. I will say it's a decent "affordable" option and worthy of a try, if any of the above interests you! There is a whole Olay Collagen Peptide 24 line, including a face wash, serum, and eye cream.
Have you tried this moisturizer or anything from this line? I'd love to know what did and did not work for you!
