I'm aiming at doing this type of post once a month. The last one was at the beginning of September. I think it's a fun way to share a few favorites that don't normally make it into a favorites post otherwise.
If you missed my post with my Halloween playlist, I'm up for song recommendations to add to it! Other than that, I'm still living off of Taylor Swift's Folklore album. I scanned through Ariana's Positions, but a lot of the songs sounded the same to me. That's not necessarily a bad thing! It's chill and good, but I think it's one that I need to be in the mood for. I love the Positions song and music video, though! I'm waiting a little longer to actually listen to it (let's get through Halloween first!), but I am super excited that Meghan Trainor released a Christmas album. The Killers new album Imploding the Mirage is spectacular, as well. What have you been listening to lately? It's my favorite!! Sweata weatha is here! My sweatshirts, cardigans, and sweaters have become the spotlight of my closet. I mean, on the rare occasions I go out. I'll take it any way I can get it, though. All of the fall vibes, please!
We're not going anywhere this year. We thought about a pumpkin patch and corn maze, but it just didn't happen. Covid numbers are higher here right now and we are staying in as much as possible. We have some Halloween shows saved on our PVR and some movies to watch, so that's probably our main plans. It's lowkey this year and I'm okay with that.
Of course, I'm still all about Animal Crossing New Horizons, but let me tell you about June's Journey. I've been playing it for over a year. Actually, my husband plays it too. You'll find us on our couches playing any spare moment we find. It's a hidden object game and you're given islands to decorate. I personally love hidden object games and this is one of the better ones. It's on Apple and Google Play and I highly recommend it. I've even thought of writing a blog post on tips about it because I'm so obsessed!
That's it! I'm off to enjoy the Halloween weekend and try not to spend it in an anxious state as Tuesday gets closer. It's a very important time for my home country as the next election night nears! I very much meant what I said in this post and made it right this time around. My vote means much more than just choosing between Republicans and Democrats. So much has come to light even since that post that made the decision easier than ever for me. If you're able to vote (for whomever, I'm not telling you how to vote!), make sure that you get it in and that it counts since court rulings have changed the rules in a few states. I hope you all stay safe and healthy.
