Summer 2020 Torrid Haul

I recently placed an order with Torrid while they were offering bonus cash rewards and free shipping to Canada. As always, I added a bunch to my cart and took my time editing down my choices. And as always, things I wanted kept selling out and I would get frustrated. It's pretty much my usual online shopping routine. Haha! Luckily, the things I'm showing today are still available except for one. That doesn't mean you can't find it in your local Torrid location though!

I'll probably be placing another order in the next few weeks when my birthday and anniversary rewards come through next month. I mean, we can't have them go to waste, can we?! Plus, I have to take advantage of the free shipping to Canada while I can. It's usually a pretty hefty amount to order and ship Torrid here. Too much, if you ask me.

At the time of writing this, all three items still available are on sale! Here's what I purchased!

• Floral Aviators - I love a good pair of aviators. They look great on everyone! I originally wanted the rose gold ones, but they sold out. These floral ones were the perfect second option. If one little snag can be mentioned, they shipped to me with a part of the floral coating rubbed off near the back of the right arm. Not a huge deal. The fit is nice and the lenses aren't super oversized.
• Black Tie-Front Dolman Top - I'm really big on button-fronts and tie-fronts right now, so I was super excited to find a shirt that had both. And for under $20! Love this one! The quality feels good, like it's going to hold up for a long while.
• Harry Potter Quidditch Blouse - I'm so tempted to get another one. They have two others- a teal one and burgundy one. Each have different designs! The blouse itself is a bit sheer and light, but perfect for layering over a cami or under a cardigan. I chose this one because I thought it would be perfect for when Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is finally able to come to Toronto. The show was supposed to come in October, but it is obviously looking to be rescheduled when possible. And when it does, I am soooo ready.
• Rolling Stones Tie-Dye Tank - My husband's favorite band, so I love getting Stones shirts and hoodies because they make me think of him. I like them too, but they have been his number one forever. The thing is Stones items always sell out fast! I'm on a tie-dye kick and also love that this one has both of my countries represented. If we can ever afford a ticket (They are so expensive now! The last one we were able to see them was for A Bigger Bang in 2005!) to go to another show, this is definitely the Stones shirt that I'll be wearing. While this shirt is no longer on the website, they might still be carried in stores. I don't believe it was an online exclusive item! The arms have a cool ripped pattern, but I hate my arms and will layer this with a light cardigan.

So there we have it! Have you been buying online more since the pandemic began? I think I've been shopping the same and it just feels like more because I'm not going anywhere between packages. Granted with that said, I do have two orders coming from Juvia's Place and have two other orders from other stores in mind. But I think I'll blame that on my "birthday brain" being activated. It's when your birthday is coming up and your thought process becomes, "well, it is my birthday soon...", "maybe I'll treat myself a little...", etc. Yep. I get major "birthday brain". Haha! Anyone else?
