Getting this post up was something else. I was ready to throw my ancient laptop out the window because it kept giving me errors left and right. Alas, I think I've finally got it working. **knocks on wood**
My husband and I are in week 7 of staying home and my monthly favorites have definitely proven to be different with our new schedule (or lack thereof). Instead of makeup and nail polish, I've found myself gravitating more toward skincare, things that make my pamper sessions feel luxurious and comforting, and things that just add a dose of self care to my everyday routine. My makeup drawers are probably catching a bit of dust right now and I'm okay with that. Has what you reach for changed in recent weeks?
Though there's not a single makeup product to be found in my favorites this month, these things have been my main grabs for weeks!
- Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial Spray - These facial sprays are so nice. The lavender one is a great option, as well.
- Blue Light Glasses - I got these TIJN ones from Amazon. I shared the haul here. I stare at screens a lot. A LOT. And I suffer from headaches and migraines and I feel like these help!
- The Body Shop British Rose Body Butter - One of the only rose scents I like! I love rose in skincare, but I usually just tolerate the scent. I don't just tolerate this one, I prefer it. If you don't like rose scents, this might be the one that sways you like it did me.
- Bath & Body Works Vanilla Buttercream Hand Cream - All of the handwashing has left my already dry hands in dire shape. I always have a tube of hand cream nearby and I adore these little tubes from B&BW. The Vanilla Buttercream scent smells as yummy as it sounds.
- Neutrogena Bright Boost Gel Cream - The jar is pretty and the scent is nice. This formula feels so nice on my dry skin and I like it paired with the Micro Polish - my two favorite items from the Bright Boost line.
