Yay for October! The holiday rush is starting and I am so ready for it. The first of my two Thanksgivings is just around the corner and I'm already pulling out our Halloween themed movies and shows to watch. Halloween isn't my top holiday, but it rounds out my top three just behind Christmas and Thanksgiving. What's your favorite holiday? Honestly, I just loooove talking all things holidays. If I could just live in a world like in The Nightmare Before Christmas where you can just open a door and escape into any given holiday...
But before I delve further into my October posts, I'm going to go back into the past momentarily with my September monthly favorites. I'll finish up my September posts with my InstaMonth round-up next week. Let me know in the comments if you have tried any of my favorites this month or what you have been loving. I know a lot of new launches are happening right now with the holidays coming up. I can barely keep up!
- Pixi and RachhLoves The Layers Palette - This is a palette that you shouldn't sleep on. It's more than just highlighting. There's so many ways to layer these powders and they work so well as eyeshadow too.
- Essie Angora Cardi - A color perfect for fall. It was hard waiting until actual fall to start before breaking it in!
- Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink in Pioneer - I still need to get my swatches up of this, but it's such a great red that doesn't budge.
- E.L.F. Poreless Putty Primer - I didn't know what to expect when I first got this primer, so I didn't grab it with high expectations BUT I could have and would not have been let down at all.
- Demeter Hawaiian Vanilla Fragrance - This was sitting in my collection and getting ignored and I wanted to give it the attention it deserves again. It's one of my favorite vanilla scents and I love how it smells from the moment of spraying down to when it's finally drifting away. The fun part of Demeter is that you can layer them to find perfection. Come Christmas, I love layering this with their Gingerbread scent!
