I haven't done a clothing haul in a while, so I figure I would compile most of my purchases into one post. These are all items purchased between May and now and while it looks like a lot to some, you know your girl here loves sales and clearance. Also, my birthday was during July so praises be to those beautiful creations also known as gift cards! At the beginning of the summer, I was stocking up on a few summery pieces but I've found myself already gravitating toward fall items in the past month. My next Old Navy Super Cash purchases will probably look like autumn threw up in my cart and I. Am. So. Ready.
All of the items below came from Target (oh my gosh, finally got back to my beloved while visiting home!), Torrid, Nordstrom, and the place that I can't believe I'm not a spokesperson for yet - Old Navy. The Nordstrom item was my first since they opened a few locations in Canada and my first during their annual Anniversary Sale. Here's what I bought and I'll link to everything that is still available, which should be all if not most of it.
- Mad Love Keava Sandals in White - I have a similar pair in black and I like the padded arch support on these.
- Shade & Shore Neida Eva Sandals in White - Just under $13 and I wish I had them in every color. Some of the most comfortable sandals I own!
- Hogwarts Tee - Shopped this from the men's section and just sized down. It's HP...had to have it.
- A New Day Striped Tees - I grabbed a classic black and white one and a red, white, and blue one. These are only $5 right now, if you're near a Target and are interested.
I don't go here often, but I found myself having my birthday and anniversary rewards along with a gift card. I walked in to find out that clearance was BOGO and my heart pitter-pattered straight to the racks! I wish their shipping to Canada wasn't outrageous and I would order online...but then again, maybe it is better on my wallet this way.
- Frenchie Sweatshirt - While it is sold out online, you may still find it in your store like I did.
- Pink Floral Tank - I just figured this would be cute with a cardigan or as loungewear. It's very soft. We all know I haven't met a floral I don't like.
- Berry Pointelle Sweater - I see this as a perfect transition piece into fall, then add a jacket as the weather cools further. I love this shade of purple and the detail on the sleeves!
- Dog Obsessed Tank - Because, obviously I wasn't leaving the store without this. This might as well be my slogan from here on out. Super blessed and dog obsessed for life.
- Swing dress - I got this to wear on my birthday. So comfy and swing dresses look good on anyone and everyone.
- Super Skinny Jeggings - I love their jeggings. I have light and dark denim, so I really wanted black ones for fall.
- Warm Floral Boxers - This print makes me think of the 60s and 70s. They have it in the longer PJ pant, as well.
- Space Dye Sweater-Knit Leggings - These are almost sold out, but I recommend them if you can find them. They are so thick and are going to be perfect as the nights get colder. I can't wait to cuddle up on the couch wearing these and a sweatshirt for a movie night.
- Keyhole Romper - Pro: Looks fabulous on and has a great fit. Con: That great fit is everywhere but the shoulders. I feel like I practically have to dislocate my shoulder to get the straps on. Getting it on and off is a pure battle.
- Striped Street Leggings - I got them for physical therapy, but these would definitely be cute for everyday wear.
- Twill Shorts - I got both of these while back home in the South Carolina heat! I love a good pair of denim shorts (see above with Target), but I really gravitate toward twill and linen fabrics on most of the hotter days.
- Canvas Sneakers - I haven't had a plain pair of white tennis shoes in ages. I couldn't resist these when they were on a one-day sale for $8. The memory foam insole is the best added touch.
- First- Layer Fitted Cami - I love these for PJs. The antique coral shade is a perfect match for the boxers I got.
- Printed Tee - I got this fun summery shirt while I was back home in May. I'd been away from home a long time and that southern heat slapped me right in the face. LOL! So I bought the most summery things I could- the shorts and this beachy tee!
My summer wardrobe was really lacking, so I'm happy to have added these additions with many of them easily adaptable for fall wear. Looking ahead to the future months, I know I am going to be living in that swing dress (perfect LBD!), jeggings, and sweater leggings. That's just a known fact!
What have you bought recently? What's your favorite season to shop for? Big surprise when I say mine is fall, huh?!
