I've been testing Vichy's Ultra-Fluid Tinted Sunscreen Lotion for the past few weeks. As someone who loves a good tinted moisturizer that has some SPF, this is the first tinted sunscreen I have tried. With SPF 60, this is a sunscreen first and foremost. Here's my thoughts and my swatch of the "universal tint".
I don't always enjoy wearing a full face of makeup or foundation, especially on hot days where it feels like my face is going to melt off. Those days are when I am happy to have products like this around. I get SPF protection and it's tinted, giving me a little coverage and color. I treat this like a regular tinted moisturizer and still use concealer, blush, etc. It layers fine and works well with other products, as you can see below.
The ultra-fluid part is not joking. It's a very fluid formula and works pretty well with my dry skin. I was a little worried about there being an "universal tint". It swatches a little dark on my hand, but it works on my face. How would it look on darker skin tones, though? I mean, you can really sheer it out, but I'd love to know how it works on others.
Also, as a sunscreen, it obviously has the typical sunscreen scent albeit not a super strong one. It doesn't feel oily, so I would think it would work for those of you with oily or combination skin. Nothing in this caused irritation on my sensitive skin. And while I say this is perfect for the hotter months due to being sweat resistant, I can see this being great year-round. It could also be a good choice if you live an active lifestyle and need a sunscreen that can keep up with you.
