Coming straight from Australia, we've got Nude by Nature in its full rose gold glory in Canada exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart. I was sent a few products to test and review and one of those is this Sheer Light Pressed Illuminator. Unfortunately, it did not hold its own during the shipping process and arrived to me broken. That might be something to take note of if you're hoping to order this powder online. It was a mess when I first opened the compact!
Below are my thoughts and swatches.
Unfortunately (for me), this pressed illuminator only comes in one shade right now. I just find it a little warm for my liking when it comes to illuminating and highlighting my fair skin. That might change as summer arrives and I might crave a warmer glow. However, it is sheer as it states in its name, so it's easy enough to sheer out and make it work. I prefer to layer it with other products rather than using it on its own.
Another reason I like to layer it is that it isn't a strong glow. It does show up, but sometimes I prefer a little more glow power. To the powder's credit, it does layer well with others. I don't think this is a shade I would purchase on my own. Maybe if they came out with a slightly cooler-toned option. And because I do typically layer it to get it to my liking, it's just not one that I reach for often. If you have warmer skin and prefer a subtle glow, I think you'd really like this. The powder is smooth, applies evenly, blends easily, and lasts for hours.
The Sheer Light Pressed Illuminator retails for $32 CA on Shoppers Drug Mart. Have you tried this product or any Nude by Nature items?
If you missed my post on the Nude by Nature Starter Kit, you can find that post here. I'm wearing the Starter Kit (in W2 Ivory) and the Sheer Light Pressed Illuminator in the picture below.
