Recent Old Navy and H&M Hauls - Winter 2019

This is a collective haul post. I purchased the Old Navy items about two weeks ago, give or take. I actually went there again this past weekend to use a voucher (I'll touch on that below) and in the same trip to the mall, I went to H&M. Everything I got at both stores are below and I'll try to link to everything. As it is recent, most of it should be available in store, online, or both.

I had Super Cash for Old Navy and I hate for that to go to waste. You can use Super Cash on clearance, so I found great deals both in that section and a few of the sales that were going on at the time. And actually, some of the deals going on right now are even better and they are giving out Super Cash again to use in the future. If ordering online, don't forget to use eBates. I was thinking about spring when I picked these things out or more accurately, that awkward time when winter meets early spring. Obviously, I'm wearing it all now but I wanted lighter layers that still provide warmth even on those days where you need a jacket in the morning and you are shedding it by the afternoon.

• Velvet Tee - I got the ember red one for Christmas and love it, so I didn't hesitate when I found this one in clearance in the "plum tonic" shade.
• Love Is Universal Swing Tank - Clearance for $2.47! This one is more for when I'm lounging around the house and maybe for layering under cardigans. The length is longer, which is something I really like when reaching for tank tops.
• Crew Neck Sweater - My husband actually picked this one out. A rare occasion! He went to look around and came back saying, "I found a sweater that I think you'll really like. It's a pretty color!". He wasn't wrong! It's gorgeous and so soft. Unfortunately, they forgot to take the security tag off of it and I didn't notice until I got home. I notified Old Navy customer service who were super fast to respond. I just wanted to know if I could take it to any store to have it removed. Not only did they answer my question (which was yes), but they sent me a voucher for a future purchase. I have to give praise when a store goes above and beyond. I took the sweater back and got the tag removed. Now it's ready to wear!
• Striped V-Neck Tee - Another clearance find. This one is kind of slouchy like most of their "luxe" line, which is the type of shirt I love to wear under cardigans.
• Out of Office and Long Weekends Tunics - I got the Out of Office one on sale and found the Long Weekends one in clearance for around $8. I love these so much, that I used said voucher to grab another one of these in the olive color this past weekend. I had multiple people reach out to me after wearing the Out of Office one recently in my Stories on Instagram! I can't say enough good things about them. The tunic length is perfect for leggings, jeggings, or jeans. It's a soft sweatshirt and feels so light while still adding warmth. But that length though...it's perfection. If I could find the black one in my size, I'd be grabbing that one too! That's how much I love them...I have three and want more.

This haul is short and sweet and also indicative of my leopard print addiction. I originally saw the leopard print Stones sweatshirt on the app and had to have it. I obviously love leopard print and the Rolling Stones are my husband's favorite band. A perfect little union! I had also been eyeing the leopard print Mickey shirt online, but it said it wasn't sold in stores. It was a nice surprise when I saw a whole rack of them and I just had to take advantage.

Another special thing about this haul is that it is my first from their straight sizes. I have gotten accessories plenty of times and an item or two from their plus line (which I wish was available in more of their stores for convenience), but I always found their regular sizing to be too small. I have been losing weight recently which also makes a difference, but I also know they changed the size chart around in just the last few months to better represent North American sizing and I think that's a wonderful step in the right direction!
