This is it, the final few days from my advent calendar this year. And I'm back to regularly scheduled programming after taking a nice holiday break. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break, as well. I hope those of you that work retail survived with at least a few nerves left!
I'm still editing my Christmas gift pictures, but that post is coming for those of you that enjoy seeing them. I personally do! We still have one holiday dinner with friends coming up and then our decorations go away on January 6th. I'm not ready to say goodbye to the holidays! I know some people want it all gone the day after, but not me. I'm the type of person who you might find singing a Christmas carol any day of the year! Which type are you?
This post is short and sweet, seeing as there is only three days left to cover from my NYX Sugar Trip Advent Calendar. It's still available, but it doesn't appear to be on discount any longer. If you love the shades I've shared, I do believe it is worth the full price. I feel like I got more in product than my Benefit calendars from a few years ago and they were more expensive.

A gorgeous gunmetal. I keep showing my age, but I had an amazing eyeshadow from Fetish Cosmetics in high school that was near exact to this. Does anyone else remember Fetish? Christina Aguilera was the face of the brand. It wasn't around long, but I loved that shadow. It was so opaque and perfect. This is pretty darn close in formula. I usually go for more golds and warmth in my looks now, but I can't say no to a good silver.
In Deep Trouble
Funny that this is the shade name for the day of Christmas Eve! I love this color in the pan. It's pretty swatched, but that below swatch took about three swipes. It just takes A LOT to really get it to show up on skin. In Deep Trouble is a gorgeous purple, but super sheer.
Deep Rooted
I love brown lipsticks...when they are the right coloring for me. This one is far too yellow-based for my skin and just does not look that good. I'm going to play around with it and see if I can dial down the yellow tones a bit with some layering. I can also tell that this one would do better over a liner or balm. It sinks into fine lines almost instantly.
