I need a moment to rejoice. I found my other camera battery charger and it works, so I don't have to order a new battery yet! These photos were taken with my phone, but I can finally get back into the swing of things as far as swatches go. I absolutely believe you can do most things with your phone camera now, but I find close up shots and swatches far easier with my DSLR because that's what I am used to and prefer. Now it's back to action and I get to save money by not ordering a battery. Total win!
How was your September? I am so excited that it is October. It's fall, the start of the holiday season is around the corner, and the leaves are just starting to change. The September-December range is my absolute favorite. And this weekend brings my first of two Thanksgivings with the Canadian one. While I have a few heavy topics on my brain, I can't help but sit back and be thankful and grateful for what I have. I hope all of my Canadian (and honorary Canadians like me!) readers have a fabulous holiday!
- Tarte Blush in Paaarty - Legit my favorite blush. I reach for this the most and it's still going strong. It is so natural.
- Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Rockstar - HG purple eyeliner. I always repurchase this shade, especially for fall and winter months.
- ABH Soft Glam Palette - It's perfect. All of those good things you're hearing? 100% truth, in my opinion!
- Bite Beauty Liquified Lipstick in Eclair - A beautiful rosy pink that goes with any look.
- La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum - I haven't talked about this on here yet. It's a really thick gel-like serum and takes a long time to sink into my skin, so I do prefer to use this overnight. But the hyaluronic acid in it works like a charm and I can tell the difference on the mornings that I have used it. I'm not too keen on the scent. It dies down, but it is still noticeable for quite a while - another reason I prefer to use it at night. If your skin gets super dry in the cold months, this might be something you would like. It is pricey, but a little goes a long way in application.
