Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Set in Warm & Fuzzy - Holiday 2017

I got this as part of my VIB Sale haul a few weeks ago. Like I said in that post, I couldn't pass it up since it said Warm & Fuzzy and I co-run a craft business with my MIL called Warm & Fuzzy Knits. I took it as a sign and grabbed it! Well, I'm not that silly in my decision making...honest. I also just really liked the colors offered!

There's also a cooler-toned set called Play It Cool and I'm really attracted to that one, as well. I don't think you can go wrong with either set! I was more swayed by the Warm & Fuzzy set because it has a sneak peek at the new shimmer formula coming out in the spring. A shimmer liquid lipstick? I'm all over that! This trio comes with Splendore Shimmer, Beso, and Caramello. It looks like it might be sold out online at Sephora (at least on the Canadian site), but you might still have luck finding it in store or during a restock. And I'm pretty sure it is still available on the Stila website.

This is my first time trying a Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick and I am quite fond of the formula! It feels smooth going on, doesn't feel uncomfortable, and the best part? It doesn't dry down darker like I find ColourPop to do. The shade they swatched is what I ended up with on my lips and I am so ecstatic about that!

I wasn't sure how I would feel about the shimmer version, but I wanted to try it. I know ColourPop has the Metallics, but they never really interested me. I knew going with a more neutral tone like Splendore Shimmer would ease me into it, but it just has a slight shimmer and glow. It's not overwhelming at all like I was originally afraid it would be. I can't get enough of it. Be on the lookout for this formula when it launches next spring!

Beso is straight-up red. It's a stunner, though! It can go on a little patchy, so I do have to take a little more time paying attention to details. And out of all three, this one has the most staying power. I'm not surprised with all of the pigment. Pretty sure this is the one I'm going to be wearing to my holiday parties this year!

That brings me to Caramello. Such a gorgeous nude! If you've been reading my blog a while, you probably know I'm going to say this is my favorite of the set. Though Splendore Shimmer is right behind it! This is such a simple everyday color to just throw on and go. And it's just the right nude shade that I think would work for a lot of skintones.

The formula on all three is super creamy and easy to apply. It dries down quickly and I get a good 4-5 hours of wear with them, more for Beso. They do not feel heavy on the lips nor do they make my lips feel dry. This is definitely up there among my favorite liquid lipstick formulas and I would not hesitate to add another shade or two to my collection down the road. If you can find this set, it's worth the purchase!
