ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in Summer Lovin'

My friend Mel sent this to me in a care package and dubbed it as her favorite of the tie dye shadows from ColourPop. That's a pretty big statement, because all four are so pretty! I'll go ahead and say that Summer Lovin' and the other tie dye shadows are not listed on the site right now, but ColourPop has been known for bringing products back. Right now, they have their tie dye highlighters back including the popular Churro.

Because they often bring back discontinued products, I'm sharing my thoughts and swatch on this bad boy. It deserves the spotlight, because Mel did not lead me down a wrong path. Not that I thought she would. That girl has the entire ColourPop collection (I'm fairly certain of it), so I take her opinions on the brand seriously! Summer Lovin' has proven to be popular, as I think it has been brought back twice now.

Summer Lovin' is a metallic pink bronze and I'm sold. It's straight up rose gold on the lids. It pairs with every single color in the Naked 3 palette, if that is your palette du jour. There is a sheen and it is not chunky in texture at all. For their shadows in the rose gold color family, this ties with Wattles at the top of my list. I hope they bring this one back soon, because I'll just come right out and say that you need this one in your collection. It lives up to the hype!
