Confession time: I love to see what the celebrities are wearing, but I absolutely hate watching the red carpet specials (I get so tired of the same questions!) and actual awards. If I do watch the awards, I record them and then fast forward through a good 80% of them just to watch the bits that I am interested in. They just all bore me and do not interest me in the slightest. But the fashion? Gimme gimme!
Here are a few of my likes and dislikes from last night's event! While there were certainly a handful that I did not care for, there were so many fabulous ones. It was hard to narrow it down, because they were just that good. I love when that happens!
Kerry Washington: Balenciaga. My fave pregnant leading lady look. Olivia Wilde was a close second.
Kate Beckinsale: Zuhair Murad. Loving the gunmetal silver trend. The detailing is phenomenal!
Michelle Dockery: Oscar De La Renta. Where were dresses like this when I went to prom?!
Zoe Saldana: Prabal Gurung. No. Just everything. No. Too much going on!
Paula Patton: Stephane Rolland. I'm surprised the whole ruffle could fit into the camera frame!
Drew Barrymore: Monique Lhuillier. I want to love this, but it just doesn't do it for me.
And as always, I have to provide a little male eye candy. Like one of my favorite bands says, "every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man"! Well said, ZZ Top. And last night, my attention went to Usher. Now that's a suit!

I do the EXACT same thing with awards shows! Well, for all shows for that matter. Can't be bothered with commercials. I also loved Jennifer Lawrence's black/white dress. Poor Lena Dunham needs a better stylish. I've yet to see her in something I love.
