Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

I finally bit the bullet and purchased my favorite moisturizer. I have tried other products, but none of them work as amazingly as this one does for me. I do not know why it took me this long to get a bottle of it, because I always use up the samples I get of it. Silly me! I got a Clinique concealer at the same time, so I hope to be reviewing that soon.

I assume that because this product gets very mixed reviews, it is definitely not formulated for every skin type. As someone who suffers from combination skin (very dry cheeks and an oily T-Zone), it seems to work just fine for me. I apply a generous amount to my cheeks and let it sink in before applying my makeup. I find that it makes my skin very smooth. I'm not really breakout-prone, so I have seen no problems in that area. I do have very sensitive skin and have noticed no redness.

I got the one with the pump, because I like controlling the amount that comes out. The product sinks into the skin very fast, which is a must for me because I loathe the greasy feel that some lotions give you.

For the oilier skin types, I would suggest the Moisturizing Gel. Go to your local Clinique counter and request a sample of the one that works with your skin type. Never hurts to try out a new product, because you might just find a winner!

I still like my other moisturizers (Soap & Glory, Cetaphil, etc.) and will probably go back and forth between them and this one, because this is a little on the expensive side. As big as the bottle looks, it actually goes quickly. I am glad to have finally bought a full-sized bottle of this and I know that it will be a repurchase in the future!
