In what was my second and possibly last Sephora haul of the year (unless the Boxing Day sales are worthy), I waited for my $15 off coupon to come around. My other haul was not long ago when the VIB Sale took place. You can see that haul here. Aside from that, I grabbed my birthday freebie in July. It's not to say that I don't still stalk the website and app and add to my list. I do plenty of that! I think I might stick to online ordering, because they always seem to have a problem with my card and are rarely willing to give me points if my husband uses it in stores. I get tired of having to call in to get the points.
I'm a Beauty Insider, so we get $15 off of a $50 dollar purchase. I restocked two of my HG products and grabbed one new one to try. Let's see what those products are!
I got spoiled with four samples and I'm not complaining. I got a Philosophy duo to try, a few lipsticks, a Touche Eclat sample, and Gucci Guilty. I plan on swatching the bareMinerals lipsticks for the blog. And I love the way the Gucci perfume smells. I don't always like Gucci scents, but Guilty smells amazing. This could possibly be a full-size option for me in the future. I'll have to see with further wear.
So I grabbed my two HGs- Sephora's hair ribbons and Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer. I always stock up on the hair ribbons because they don't rip out my thin hair like so many other hair elastics do. And they stay put! This is probably my fourth or so tube of Full Cover Concealer. It's been in my favorites probably more than any other item in my makeup collection. It covers everything and you don't need a lot of it. It lasts through everything too- it survives every physio session, summer day, crying session, etc. that I put it through!
For the final item, I picked up a Too Faced Melted Latex liquid lipstick in Peekaboo. It was on sale for $12 down from $25. It is a pink nude- surprise surprise, Wendy picked a pink nude! Haha! I can't tell you too much about it because I haven't tried it yet, but I'll be sure to swatch it in a later blog post. I like the tube and the color. Just have to see what I think of it on the lips. If you have tried these Melted Latex lipsticks, let me know what you think!
Have you picked up anything recently at Sephora or with your coupon? Every little discount or deal helps this time of year!
