Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls in Translucent Pearl

I'm all about that summer glow this year! And I have two exciting reviews coming up on highlighters and this is one of them. I picked up the Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls in Translucent Pearl the other week when I also bought the Physicians Formula Bronze Booster. I'm still kind of new to the Physicians Formula brand, I can count on one hand how many of their products I have tried. But with these recent purchases, I definitely would not mind adding more to my collection!

The product originally has a silvery overlay, but it goes away after one swipe. I actually really like the silvery sheen and wish that it was part of the formula. It's pretty with and without it, but the silvery sheen makes you cheeks have that "Bam! Look at me!" glow and looks great on pale skin. Without it, it still produces a gorgeous glow, just a little more understated. Great for everyday use and for those of you who work in a professional setting.

There are four shades available, this is the one most suited for fair skintones. The multi-colors swirled together give a really pretty pink sheen. I've taken to mixing a liquid highlighter in my foundation and then using this with my blush and bronzer for a little added glow. It blends easily and works fine on my dry skin.

I don't mind the packaging, but I will say that mine was having a hard time shutting until I realized that the mirror had come loose and causing it to get in the way. It completely fell out, but I pushed it back in. I just try to open the compact to get to the product on top and not worry about the mirror or brush below. Not that I really use either.

I'm really happy to have this in my highlighter collection. I think that's my current obsession right now- give me all of the highlighters! Maybe I watch too much Jaclyn Hill. I kid. You can never watch too much Jaclyn Hill.
