I was offered a chance to talk about casual style, the grandpa cardigan, and a certain movie. I jumped at the chance, because if anyone has been paying attention to my style, they know that cardigans are my thing. Not to mention that one of my favorite dates with my husband are those spent in theatres watching films! This was a win-win opportunity.
The movie in which today's blog post is inspired by is Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. I have never seen an episode or a movie from the Jackass enterprise, but I saw the trailer for this one and it looks pretty funny! Oddly enough, the Bad Grandpa character reminds me a little of my grandma. She had the mouth of a sailor, a fiery temper, and she did everything a little sideways. I knew almost every outing was going to be a disaster, an adventure, or a little of both! But, oh the memories I have!
^ Both of these are from ASOS (left, right).
^ I'm loving this jacquard-knit one from H&M and this gorgeous burgundy one from New Look!
While I have a closet full of cardigans (because again, they are totally my thing), I have a favorite "grandpa-ish" one and it's this black one from Old Navy. These are all taken from my Instagram, hence the dirty mirror shots in my closet. Keepin' it real, y'all!
^ Everything is Old Navy, except the Tiffany & Co. necklace and H&M clutch.
^ Shirt is Target, jeans are Paris Blues, scarf is from Ardene.
^ Everything is Old Navy except for accessories. Necklace is House of Harlow, purse is Rebecca Minkoff, shoes are American Eagle, and shopping tote is Marc by Marc Jacobs.
The movie comes out on October 25, 2013. If you're like me and never thought the Jackass crew would interest you, check out the trailer! I'm excited to go and check it out in theatres.
